The Project

A brand new construction, Brunel Gardens is a Build to Rent mixed-use scheme situated in the town of Horwich, Bolton. The development accommodates 4 luxurious apartments to the first and second floors, with an A1/A2 retail unit to the ground floor. It has the advantage of 8 parking spaces to the rear, along with bicycle storage for residents.

We met our sustainable targets for this build. We minimised our carbon footprint with strategic methods for the exportation of materials. We used 30,000 bricks on this project, each one was locally sourced in the area and this shrank our effect on emissions. With the preparation and planning of the project we managed to transport multiple materials on each load, minimising our carbon out put.

The built on land was a brownfield site, and previously a garden centre before we redeveloped the site.
